Which bathroom are you planning?
Most bathrooms we fit are one of these four. We'll tell you what your space can take.
- Plan01
Bathroom refit
The old suite out and a new one in. Often with the bath, shower and basin moved so the room works better.
Good for: Dated family bathrooms - Plan02
Wet room
A level, walk-in shower with no tray. The floor is laid to fall to a drain and fully waterproofed.
Good for: Easy access, small rooms - Plan03
En-suite
A shower room off the bedroom, often built into a wardrobe, box room or the corner of a large bedroom.
Good for: Busy family homes - Plan04
Downstairs WC
A toilet and small basin, usually under the stairs or in an old utility. Small room, big difference.
Good for: Families, guests
What's behind the tiles.
A wet room is only as good as the layers you never see. Tap a layer to see how we build one.
We lift the old floor and check every joist. Any that bounce or show rot are strengthened.
Why it matters: A floor that flexes cracks the grout and breaks the seal.
A new deck or wet room former, laid with a gentle slope down to the drain.
Why it matters: Water runs to the drain, not into the corners.
A slim drain channel, set into the deck and sealed to it.
Why it matters: One straight fall line, so floor tiles can stay large.
A waterproof membrane over the floor and up the walls, with taped corners and sealed pipes.
Why it matters: This is what keeps the water in. Tiles and grout are not waterproof on their own.
A flexible adhesive, spread fully under every tile with no hollow spots.
Why it matters: Hollow tiles crack, and cracks let water through.
Slip-resistant floor tiles cut to the fall, wall tiles, and sealant at every joint.
Why it matters: The finish you see, on a floor built to last.
Waterproof behind the tiles. Tiles and grout aren't waterproof on their own. What's under them is.

What changes the price of a bathroom?
Every bathroom is priced after we measure up. The main factors:
- 01The size of the room and how much is tiled
- 02The suite, taps and shower, and who supplies them
- 03Moving the toilet, bath or shower, or keeping them where they are
- 04Wet room floors, underfloor heating and lighting
You get the price in writing before any work starts.

Still not sure?
Talk to our team. We'll tell you honestly what's possible and what it will cost.
Ask a questionMost bathrooms take one to two weeks, depending on size and how much changes. Wet rooms take a little longer, so the waterproofing can be done and checked properly.
For part of the job, yes. We'll tell you the days the toilet and shower are out of action before we start, and keep that as short as we can.
Usually, yes. We check the joists, lay the floor to fall and fully tank it. If the floor needs strengthening, we tell you before you commit.
Yes. We can supply everything through our trade suppliers, or fit what you've chosen. We'll check sizes against the drawing first.
Often, yes. It depends on the headroom and how we can connect the waste. We'll check both when we measure up.
